Alusha was the best hire we made, in terms of vendors, for our wedding day. She is an angel! We hired her with just over a week until our wedding and she not only removed our anxieties, but dealt with everything in such a breezy, calm, collected way and with an incredible attitude. To anyone reading this who's currently hesitating as to whether they actually need a day or month-of-coordinator or wedding planner: hire Alusha. She will bring your ideas to life and will save you from so much stress. I honestly don't know what I would have done without Alusha on my wedding day; it's thanks to her that I was stress-free and had the best day of my life. We only got access to our venue 2 hours before the start of the ceremony, so it would have been impossible for us to do the set up. Alusha did an amazing job setting up everything as per my (intense and too detail-oriented) instructions, and I was blown away when I walked into the venue for the first time. But where she really saved us on the wedding day was taking care of everything behind the scenes. I'm sure there are some things I'm not even aware of, but I do know that we were running pretty behind with our schedule because greeting guests and doing our sunset photos took longer than anticipated. But Alusha remained calm, came up with solutions to gain some time and just run them by me just so I was aware of what was happening.

So many of my guests asked me throughout the evening who the beautiful fairy godmother that was floating around taking care of everything was, and I told them she was the brains behind the operation. I'm usually a very stressed out perfectionist, but on my wedding day I was relaxed because I knew that Alusha had everything under control and knew everything that needed to be done. I don't have many regrets, but the one thing I do regret is not hiring her as my full planner from the start of the wedding process as I could have saved myself a lot of stress. I can't say enough how grateful I am for everything Alusha did on our wedding day, and I highly recommend her; it'll be the best decision you make for your wedding.

You know what they say – sometimes you ‘just know’. Meeting you was the absolute cherry on top of our wedding. I enjoyed every second we got to work together. Thank you for embracing our vision and for making it easy for us to go wild. It was so much easier to plan when you had all the answers, and you were always quick to respond to my calls and emails. This was so appreciated, because as I’m sure you know, the answer to one little question would start a domino effect for all the other folks helping to pull the day together. So I really appreciated how quick you were on the stick.


Working with you has been a treat for the last 14 months. It has been zero stress, lots of fun, and just really easy. We first met you on very short notice, and we talked dates, packages and prices, and how things could work. You just had a million ideas and examples, so clearly understanding what we wanted and where we needed your help, and we so quickly knew that you were the person we wanted to work with that we just cancelled all our other appointments. It was the best decision we could have made.


We both want to sincerely thank you for all that you did leading up to the night of our wedding and on our wedding night. The ambience was fantastic - nice and simple but elegant.

This panned out: nothing fell through the cracks; there were no day-of surprises/complaints. Alusha was a gift sent from heaven. She was there for us every step of the way. Anytime I called/emailed she was able to talk me through anything I was dealing with. Even one day I called in tears and she problem solved with us in order to make sure we got what we wanted and stayed on budget. She thinks fast and thoroughly and knows her job. Our day was beautiful. Having Alusha as our planner made all the difference. She took care of every detail, she was incredibly easy to deal with, and she was absolutely a pleasure to meet and to know. When we brought the wrong beverage (white wine instead of champagne!) she invented a cocktail for our wedding toast. When the MC lost her speech, Alusha quickly mobilized the staff and tracked it down. She was there every step of the way. She recommended great vendors and had a thorough knowledge of the industry. We felt very comfortable around her and she made all of our guests feel very welcome. With both her professionalism and calm demeanour under pressure, we would highly recommend her to plan any event. Alusha is remarkable! She was my day-of coordinator for my wedding and I could not imagine having pulled it all off without her. Leading up to the wedding she was very flexible; we met for a drink, discussed all the details of my wedding and even before I committed to booking her, she was sending me tips and advice on various things I was unsure about during my planning process. Alusha was like a fairy godmother and I was blown away the second I walked into my venue - she had taken all of my dreams (from photographs and descriptions) and turned them into reality. 

Throughout the night Alusha took care of everything. One of my most grateful moments was as the DJ announced for everyone to take their seats during dinner, to which most ignored and continued to flock to my husband and I to continue to give their congratulations and well-wishes. Alusha, noticing this, asked to pull us aside for a moment, hid us behind a curtain and got us both a drink and a delicious canapé I had been eyeing all night but not had a chance to eat. So smart! We were able to re-group, have a moment alone together to take a breath and this forced all the guests to actually take their seats! 

I can't say enough great things about Alusha. If you are thinking about whether or not you need to hire a day-of coordinator or a full wedding planner, I highly recommend Alusha. There are so many details that go into your big day and having someone so confident and skilled taking care of those details will allow you to really enjoy your day!
